ARTICLE IN ARAB NEWS OF 12MARCH 2008

Demolition begins in MAKKAH of properties to the North and northwest of the Grand Mosque to create more prayer space for a growing number of pilgrims and worshippers.  The new expansion project ordered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah will add more than 300,000 square meters to the existing mosque complex and help to accommodate 500,000 more worshippers.

Mohamed Shaker Al-Dahlawi, director of compensation at the Ministry of Transport points out that low-income people, including pilgrims, would find it difficult to get accommodation close to the Haram after the demolitions.

This is the reason of increase of HAJJ 2008 COST and we at the Hajj Assistance Committee of North America recommend that you perform your HAJJ this year before the price gets worse next year.

·         MEDINA: Accommodation for 5 nights at DHALLAH TAIYABA HOTEL or a similar hotel with an en suite bathroom, only steps into Masjid-e-Nabawee.  You may choose to stay in a double room (two people), a triple room (three people), or a Quad room (four people).  Open Buffet Breakfast and Dinner.

·         MAKKAH: Accommodation for 5 nights at AL SHOHADA HOTEL or a similar hotel with an en suite bathroom only 500 meters from the Holy Haram. You may choose to stay in a double room (two people), a triple room (three people), or a quad room (four people).  Open Buffet Breakfast and Dinner.


OPEN BUFFET AT THE AL SHOHADA HOTEL, MAKKAH

·         ARAFAT: Fully carpeted air conditioned PRIVATE  tent with open buffet breakfast and lunch, cold and hot drinks available throughout the day.


OUR CAMP IN ARAFAT      

·         MINA: Private air conditioned “Mummayez” tents with SOFA BEDS and only 50 metres from the Jamarat (Shaitan).  Inshallah, open buffet meals will be provided three times a day, cold and hot drinks twenty-four hours a day. Private Western and Eastern toilets especially erected for the VIP pilgrims.

·         Cancellation fees:  There is a cancellation fee of US$500 if cancelled by 30th June 2008 and after that date there will be no refund.

·         LUGGAGE:  ONLY TWO PIECES OF LUGGAGE WILL BE ALLOWED – ONE SUIT CASE 28 INCHES AND ONE BACK PACK 16 INCHES BY 12 INCHES COULD BE ON WHEELS

Roundtrip from JFK or YYZ to Medina

Medina

Our stay for five nights Inshallah will be at the DHALLAH TAIYABA HOTEL or a similar hotel steps into the Holy Haram.

Makkah

For two nights only, on the 7th Dhul’Hijjah on arrival from Medina and 12th Dhul’Hijjah on your return from Mina. Accommodation, five to six people in a room with sharing bathrooms in Aziziah Guest House.  Three meals a day open buffet will be provided during our stay.

On 13th Dhul’Hijjah transfers from Aziziah Guest House to AL SHOHADA HOTEL or another similar hotel of the same standard in Makkah.  Our stay will be for five nights.

If the Islamic date is changed by the Government then we will have to stay one extra night in Aziziah on the 14th Dhul’Hijjah move to Al Shohada Hotel

Arafat

Private carpeted air condition tents with breakfast, lunch, hot and cold drinks throughout the day.

Mina

Private air condition Mummayez tents across the Jamaraat with pull up SOFA BEDS, three meals a day and hot and cold drinks available throughout the day.

Outside Ziyarat

Inshallah, all outside Ziyarat will be visited in an air condition coach

Meals

Two meals a day – breakfast and dinner in hotels in Medina and Makkah.

Transportation

By first class air condition private coach throughout the trip.

Taxes & Gratuities

Airport taxes, portage and gratuities are included in the cost.

Doctor

Inshallah, will accompany the ‘Kafela’

A'alem

Hoojat-ul-Islam, Dr. Alhaj Maulana Sakhawat Hussain will Inshallah accompany the group.  

Ticket reconfirmation

Will be handled by us.

Passport

We will retrieve them from the Government Office

ID Card

Each pilgrim will be given an ID card showing his/her name, passport number, nationality, medical information and telephone numbers of hotels

Seniors, disabled and children

We give special attention to those in need of special attention and care which has been traditional in our past groups.

DVD & Book

DVD and a book with detailed instructions and information for Hajj-e-Tamattu’.

QURBANI INCLUDED

Qurbani in Mina will be paid by us thus a saving of US$110 to each pilgrim.

COST DOES NOT INCLUDE:

Checks to the Saudi Embassy at the time when applying for the Hajj Visa app. US300

HOTEL ROOMS

The rooms at the hotels in Medina and Makkah will be available between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM (could be also late) because the pilgrims staying in the rooms before our arrival will vacate the rooms after 3:00 PM.
